PHOTOBOOTH - LOVE 4.2.10
well i think this will be a new tradition...taking photos in a photobooth, scrap it, entitle it as..."LOVE (followed by the date taken)"....
here's our first ever....i scrapped these 2 different ways.
this one i did as a going away gift for my stepdaughter, ashley, the day before she left home for idaho (sorry the photo is blurred, it was too dark outside to take it, so settled for the inside of the house, the lighting is not all that great for photos):
here's the 2nd lo using the same photo strip, i used mostly Basic Grey papers (love them!). i also used a sketch from one of the online classes taught by Kelly Purkey, one of my scrappy idols. here's my take:
love the deetz on this one.
yup, this will be a beautiful tradition.
nitey nite!

journaling is from a Madonna song, Little Star: Never forget who you are, Little Star....Never forget how to dream, Butterfly...Never forget where you come from...from LOVE.
i had posted the deetz on an earlier post, but here it is again:
this LO will be on my fave list.
it would be so great to make the DT. but if not, i'll try next time. but oooohhh sooooo hope so.
i've got quite a few other LO's to post...but i may post them later on today or sometime this week. i had used a bunch of sketches created by the reknowned Kelly Purkey. i took 2 online classes she was teaching and they were both great.
did another LO earlier this a.m. my hubby especially loved it b/c it was about one of his toys. that'll get posted laterz as well.
for now my Little Star will do.
have a great sunday and i'm off to do laundry and clean house. so grateful to be a home girl today. for real.

The 2 Couples on Inspired Blueprints
here's one i did this past saturday early in the a.m. I used Inspired Blueprints sketch #46 and the LRS April 2010 kit. this sketch was a fun one to do. this LO will definitely be on my fave list. i turned the photos to b&w to make them pop out with the papers. the first photo is of my sis and her hubz (going on 16 yrs), the second one is of me and my hubz (we've been married for a little over a yr now). love the jb butterflies! lots of border punching, layering and tone on tone...my fave techniques!
here's my take:
and now for the deetz:
so happy that jo & rey have been together for so long...we are gonna follow in their footsteps. yey-yah!
tfl! have a great nite!
