this was a thank you gift for my cousin & her fam for letting us stay over the night last saturday....
bought a storage jar for $6.99, candles a $1.89 each, scrap supplies from my stash, total cost about $25!!!

and a sneaky peeky on a mother's day gift...

loving these past 3 years!

yesterday was our 3rd yr anniversary..
we'll be celebrating tonight @ dinnertime..

but we did get to exchange gifts last night...

he got me this lovely card and even more lovlier STARBUCKS gift card!!!!

i used it this a.m. and got myself a grande iced skinny caramel macchiato.
i'll have to go the "tall" route from here to get more mileage off the card.

supplied used:  cocoa daisy "pier 39" kit: crate paper & pink paislee patterned papers, american crafts cardstock; add'l supplies from my stash:  stamps by hero arts & michael's, ink:  stampcraft, pen & marker: sharpie, uniball signo, twine, staples, punch:  fiskars.

the mini-album...
for this one i used the cocoa daisy "by the numbers" kit:  papers:  my mind's eye, american crafts letter stickers and elle's studio layered numbers.

i love these elle's studio layered numbers, used them to represent our wedding anniversary date...

this was real simple mini-album..
cut up my papers 4x6, decked out the cover w/ the layered numbers and letter stickers...
inserted each photo between each a paper, added my journaling on papers to the opposite side of each photo...
binded everything together with a ring...
and there you go!

my hubby loved it.

today...
is our 3rd year wedding anniversary....

took this..this a.m. while my hubby dropped off maiya at school.
he always has to take it off while going for a run, because he's afraid it'll slip off plus when it's cold out, his fingers tend to get freezy.
he's sensitive like dat!
lol...

a mini album for a 92nd bday

here's what i made for my grandpa's 92nd bday....

used some old basic grey pp's as background, some scrap strips:  my mind's eye, cosmo cricket, lily bee, crate paper.
buttons by basic grey & jesse james & co.
paints & mists:  ranger, craftsmart, glitter mists.
staples, twine as accents.
and my nifty pens:  sharpie & uniball signo.
punches galore:  fiskars, ek success & martha stewart.
and of course cut up my cocoa daisy & amazon boxes for the bases.
put it all together with the rings & yey-yah....a nice mini album!
love how this pulled together and hope my gramps loves it too!
