also using a new app i found this past saturday...everyday.me
love these 2, great for organizing and journaling your day in photos.
plus i think it will help out with my project life.
we'll see how it goes.

yesterday we went to old town pasadena.
that town is so cool.
i'll share photos if i remember too.
i just haven't uploaded them yet to my laptop.
we went to slater's 50/50 for lunch.
a resto my hubby had gone to in anaheim before he went to the ufc l57 live event not too long ago.
luckily they had one in pasadena.
i had their The Eat Your Veggies Burger.
i've been trying to eat veggie burgers every new resto we go to.
and i love them so far.
anyway...
we walked around and window shopped:

• apple store (my fave of that day)
• crate & barrel
• the container store
• the soap kitchen (my 2nd fave)

i kinda wish we stayed a bit longer but we were getting tired...

and especially selene, it was way past her nap time.

maybe next time we go, we'll stay a little longer.

anyway...

i completed my week 1 PL 2013 and am finishing up my week 2 PL 2013.

i love doing this project.

ScrapTiffany's challenge for this week:  using scraps.

i used scraps from a few monthly kits from AMM.   i created a 36-page mini album using cardboard from mailing packages and from those monthly kits too. i cut them up in fourz, punched holez, added my scrapz of pp'z and then the photos and here's what i came up with:

Big Bear Lake Trip + Finally....

yesterday we decided to take a nice road trip to Big Bear Lake and let me say the almost 3-hr drive was way worth it.

we first had a very late lunch at Peppercorn Grille.  i had the spinach ricotta ravioli and my hubby and daughter had burgers.

and then we did some sight-seeing...

the ride back home was even better than getting there....the mountains were oh soooo bootiful...

and finally she is coming back home tonite....yey-yah!

can i say yey-yah again?

i miss these 2 siblings....photos to share....a special birthday

...yes i do!  especially our sibling brunches... we made this a monthly tradition to play catch up, hella laugh, and just joke around and yes have some serious "life" talks.  i am gonna miss doing this with them, but maybe when i come visit we'll get to do it again someday.

today, is this cutie'z birthday, she's officially 10 today!

we love you and happy birthday!  lunch at red robin's and then the eclipse movie. yey-yah!

California Love

we're finally here in edwards afb of cali! and i'm so relieved. we're finally home.

anyway, we're here! it took us approximately 1,240 miles to get here from lacey, wa! wow! the road trip was actually pretty smooth and the scenery was beautiful. there were specks of green over the sandy brownness, the mountains were so gorgeous.

we first stopped in lincoln city, oregon and checked in at surftides. we were able to enjoy the oregon coast beach. dang it was windy, a bit cold and and the water was freezing but the views were spectacular.

 the next day we were on the road and landed in redding, ca:

then the next couple of nights were in concord, ca.  we went to the waterpark near by.  unfortuntately i did not get a chance to take any photos while we were there.  i was going to buy an underwater camera over there, but they were selling them for $14.99 a pop, w/c i felt was a bit of a rip off!  so i settled on a brochure and scrapped in my gratitude journal.  but we did go for some semi-homemade breakfast at the local denny's and took a few pix of our sleepyheads before heading to the waterpark.  we also did the jelly belly bean tour and got lots of jelly beans of all kinds of flavors.

i got sunburnt a bit but not as bad as it was when i went snorkeling in hawaii last year.  thank gosh for major sunscreen applications.

our final road trip was wednesday to our new home...
