couldn't go back to sleep, now i'm sleepy

sheez...what's up with the insomnia?
i woke up about 3:45 a.m.
studied up on some excel skills.
now i'm blog surfing and uploading photos.
but now i'm getting sleepy.
it's 5:52 a.m. now.

this is a lil something my daughter gave me awhile back from her burger king kids meals....
i was having a bad day that day and she noticed and handed this to me...
it made my day better...

this was when we picked up maiya from school...
selene was so distracted by the other kids, she didn't bother look at the camera...
that's okay because this was still a great shot and a great moment....

also found out that day...
maiya got her grade report for 2nd quarter....
all A's!!!!!
way to go baby boo!
we went to starbucks as a reward...
she got a tall iced chai tea latte, one of her favez.

most of these were taken on my canon eos rebel xsi and the rest on my iphone.
i love both.
on occasion, i'll use my point and shoot, fujifilm finepix z, which is always in my purse when i don't feel like lugging the canon along.
i love this one too.
trying to use the canon for most of the month tho.

this past week has been:

cleaning house
doing lots of loads of laundry
organizing photos (i'm done with 2011 and january 2012, moving forward)
organizing memorabilia by year & month and placing them in expandable files by year
running, walking, zumba, working out
blog surfing/stalking

it's been a good week even with lil spurts of small nilly bad stuff (not worth talking about at this moment).
today is getting the baby bouncer sold, get a run in, laundry (yuck!), maybe start Project Life, dropping off maiya at the airport tonight.
maiya will be in wa with her dad for the martin luther king holiday weekend.

happy NYD 2013!!!!

she's feeling a lil bit better today.
starting the new year on a good note so far.
she was smiling and giggled too.
a good sign.

it must have been all the Mac & cheese & pineapple juice she had last Saturday night.
her tummy just couldn't take it because the next morning (12.30.12) about 5:30 she started puking up a storm of all that stuff.
ended up in the ER for 2 1/2 hours.
next day she puked once, had a slight fever.
pretty much slept the whole day.

she is doing really good today.
her old lil self.
running and shouting about all over the place!

was tiring but sweet.
i wanted to go for 4 but man i just ran out of energy.
must drink more water throughout the day.

on a scrapping note...
i have been on a roll since school vacay has been on...
i started doing the rest of the scrap layouts for our wedding album.
my goal is to finish is by the end of this year.
i'll be sharing the 2 i did the past couple of days soon.

also i have totally been contemplating becky higgin's project life challenge.
however, i know that i won't be able to start from a january 1 perspective of this year.
so i'm thinking of doing last year.
i just can't afford to do prints on a daily basis.
i only order prints when i can or when there is a major deal going on.
gotta gather all my souvenirs, receipts, memorabilia i've collected.
i have an album, actually 2 which don't match.
but that's ok.
for scrap supplies i'm gonna use old scrapbook kits.
gotta use them somehow, right?
i have been so inspired by ali edwards.
i went thru all her posts concerning project life2012 and now i'm onto 2011.
i love that woman.
her approach is so simple but so cool chic!
love her!
so grateful for peepz like her.
