24 friggin dayz & 7.05 miles lataz....

i have totally been neglecting my blog for the past what how many dayz???
about 24 freakin dayz!
holy sheyatz!

i've been so occupied with life here at home and with family.
i've totally blocked out blogging.
the only internet socializing i've been doing is my facebook & twitter.
i have been doing my photo-a-day for august and did complete and they're all on those 2.

here are the 24 freakin past dayz:

"glasses"
right before heading out to vegas...

"messy" brunch time in vegas...

mine at the paris hotel...

of course!

munching on some mac n cheese for lunch...

"simple" braces...
1st day on at the orthodontist...

"arrow"
he is my one & only...

"ready" to go for another dip in the pool...

me - lean cuisine chicken enchilada suiza
girlie girlz - totino's pizza, chopped...

"faces"
i've been told we look like 'twins'...
heehee...

"inside" laughing at selene doing funny stuff...

"hole" of swimming feet...

"today" was her 1st day as a 5th grader...

"cool" & refreshing milk in a sippy cup...

"home"cooking is the best...
that night i made chicken bak bokeum...

"pair" of the 2 cutest galz (one other is missing here, we miss you ashley!)...

"fresh" = us
right before watching the movie brave...

"dream"
wonder what she was dreaming about?

"tap" the chips so she can eat 'em easily b/c of her braces...

"clock"...zumba time in 5 minutes!

"down" to the last drop of Starbx cool lime refresher....

august was a good month!

to add to that i beat my pb...
i hit this:

i went for a long run this past friday but only hit 6.29 miles.
at least i beat my 10K goal.
i have a dream to get to an 8-miler.
we shall see.
did i just challenge myself?
heehee.

anyway, sharing for the past se7en dayz worth of photos...

"outside" on my early morning walk
did 1.37 miles.
so boo-ti-ful!

"one" mango mojito at the yardhouse
this was right before my fave, the peppered gorgonzola burger.
i seem to always want to order something different when i go there.
but, always always go back to the burger.
it's sooooo yumm-o!

selene is such a lucky baby
and we are lucky to have her in our lives.

"somewhere i sat"
w/ my baby boo watching the priest movie and having some lunch...

"logo"
he is the "underarmour man"
he's got galorez of ua stuff!

"writing" about love...
maiya is always helpful.
she was like mom i can write for you so you can take a picture.
so cute...

"8 o'clock"
a few minutes before selene woke up this a.m.
she always has "crazy hair"
always getting into bizness not of her own of course.
lol.

it's gonna be a busy one today....

• laundry
• vacuum
• clean up the house
• hopefully scrap a card
• pack for vegas (we're leaving sometime this afternoon!)

we'll see how it goes!

it's so nice having her back home

i'm so happy she is back home with us.
we've been enjoying the rest of the summer together too.
we've been busy busy.
car appointments, ortho appointment tomorrow.
school clothes & supplies shopping done.
swimming at the sonic splash pool and a trip to drytown waterpark last weekend.
it's been fun.

and fun taking photos of her too.

"9 o'clock" was zumba time every saturdays mornings!

"heart"...they are my 2 lovelies...

"sunshine" at the sonic splash pool by the slide...

"on the road"...taking a quick stroll together....

"cup" of my milk coffee...no selene you can't have any!  lol!

"last thing i bought"...running shoes for maiya...
for school and her 1st 3K...
(she wants to do the santa monica 5000 3K for kids this october!)

"calm" after a car appointment, school clothes & supplies shopping...
i bought her her 1st BOP & seventeen magazines at the bx...
she is so into "one direction" (the boy band) right now...

and lastly...
"toothbrush"...a finger toothbrush w/ some elmo toothpaste...
she knows the routine...
i tell her it's brush the teeth time
and she sits down by the mirror by our sink area...
yes...she bites sometimes.
ouchy!

you know what i just thought of and noticed about these photos?
well i have been using my iphone for them this whole month.
the one's i actually filter using my apps on my phone seem to post here the right way.
the one's i don't filter/edit using my apps did not angle out so great.
so my solution:  filter and edit using the aviary & filtermania 2 apps, then post.
voila!
a solution to every problemo!


tomorrow is august!
