anywhoo...
here's my day 14, photo-a-day share...
...clouds...

i think cali has one of the best sunsets...
and when the sun sets, it gives off such a kewl ray on the clouds...
took this after a play time at the park with the family, swinging & tennis.
i played alot w/ my camera during play time.
i love using the AV mode....
f-stop ranged from 4.0 - 10.0, ISO range 100 - 1600.

 no editing involved, as is.
i rarely do, except for cropping & resizing to upload faster.
but i'm slowly learning photoshop, so someday will get into that "editing mode."

so i gotta get crackin'!

used american crafts cardstock & embossing powder, lily bee patterned papers, sharpie marker, ek success, martha stewart & fiskars punches.

eat with a fork & a sign of love

here's day 12 & 13...

i ate w/ a "fork" last night for dinner...
grilled sirloin steak w/ a lemon-anchovy butter and some broccoli & onions on the side...
got the recipe from Cooking Light's March issue.
and some potato gnocchi a touch of butta & parmesan cheese.
oh so yumm-o.
but i do have admit i could have cooked the steak maybe 1 minute under.
but still, i thought it was pretty darn tasty...

and finally "a sign" of love...

this is from a going-away present from my parents.
it's got our 2nd wedding ceremony pic with raised tone-on-tone sentiments.

watching the oprah next chapter about whitney houston.
gonna do some laundry, maybe put in some scrappy time, vacuum.
then a dental appointment this p.m.

uh-oh, i'm smelling sumthin sumthin...
gotta change a poopy diaper.

eat, paint, sneak, icon

this past weekend was a relaxing and fun one...

ate:

tofu-arugula salad w/ caramelized onions and sauteed bell peppers & brown rice...

yes, there are times i just wanna be a vegan...
and it was good!

paint, paint, paint @ paint-a-dream w/ maiya...
i love spending time with her.
it was our time alone together.
i had so much fun and so did she...

we pick up our finished pottery this coming friday.
can hardly wait to see them!

i am almost finish with my week in my life album
i just have to do a cover page and it'll be done.
but here's a sneaky peeky of one of the pages...

just got done watching the special on whitney houston's last interview, remember whitney:  the oprah interview.
parts made me sad, angry, and made me feel strong.
she will always be remembered...
a tribute-medley of her beautiful voice & songs....

she will definitely let you know that she is there, wants to be carried, is hungry, is uncomfy, etc, etc.

yesterday she started walking more than 10 steps.
yey-yah!
she's getting there!
time to get new shoes and sandals for this lil one.

hoping to get some groceries done today.
a to-do/chores list/chart for maiya too.
she likes to see things out in the open so she remembers.
plus it gets kinda tiring telling her everytime.
hopefully this will help.

i've got other mac red's like paramount & viva glam III (sheez don't know the exact name, sorry!) that i wear too.
but dubonnet was the one i wore yesterday.

today she's on month 11...

loves twist her tongue to the left and even upside down,
blows invisible raspberries,
LOUDER,
stands & balances more,
starting to walk a few more steps,
separation anxiety, again,
laughs & smiles more,
growls happily,
loves to swing at the park,
laughs really LOUD,
yells happily LOUD to the point you have to put the TV volume to 50,
cries and whines LOUDER when she wants something or is really cranky...
like right now.

got a new haircut this past sunday.

here's mine...

just put my droid on timer for 5pm and there ya have it...
those are some pork-shrimp balls and you dip into a spicy lime sauce.
it's a rachel ray thang and it's one of my and my fam'z favez.
also had a sideof rice and napa cabbage w/ shallots & garlic w/ some of that lime sauce.
oh yumm-o!
gonna have the leftovers for lunch today.
yey-yah!

yesterday was just putting things away in its place after swapping the girlz roomz out.

today...
just did my nails, polish:  Wet N Wild Disturbia (a dark purple)
go for a walk...
vacuum...
maybe put a room together...
