this week's challenge on ScrapTiffany:  girl power.

i chose photos that me & my sissie took at charlotte russe, before watching sex & the city 2.
we tried on so many shades that we would not normally try on or buy.
we were laughing so loud and being so stupid fresh cool...
we got kicked out.
lol!

i used a making memories pp as my base that i bought this past summer.
i finally got to use it.

and here's my take on the challenge:

used some crate paper, october afternoon, hambly, stickles, american crafts, punches on this one.
love them all!

wakey wakey + a silly sneaky peeky

haven't been sleeping all the way thru the nite lately.
one early morning woke up about 230ish, had to go to the bathroom (like i do every 3 hours or so).
usually i go right back to sleep...
but that morning...
noooooo....couldn't!
so blogged surfed for 2 hrs.
then early this morning 'round 4ish...
same thing.

just checked out ali edwards & eve johnson's (evalicious) blogs.
love them.
definitely gonna have to buy something from evalicious.
she's got some cool @55 stuff!

anyway....

just wanted to share a quick sneaky peeky of what's coming this friday on ScrapTiffany blog....

i may have to post my reveal a day early b/c we'll be on a plane for the holidays.

i've been busy don'tcha know

whew!
i was pretty busy scrappy-wise last week.
can u believe that i scrapped every single day last week?
that's a record for me.
it's prob because it was for the holidays.
did an assignment, cards, tags.

decaf tall nonfat peppermint mocha (one pump of the peppermint please, don't like it too sweet!).
i've had 3 of these so far since thanksgiving break.
2 during thanksgiving break.
1 just this past weekend.
and prob at least 1 or 2 this xmas break.

can hardly wait til we get out of town in a few dayz time.
going to spend xmas break and new yr'z with da fam in WA state!
just a few more dayz!

star flowers...handmade for 4 & 1

this week's challenge on ScrapTiffany:  handmade flowers.

for this challenge i did some star flowers.
a few punches, hot glue, buttons.

and here's how they look up close...

aren't they lovely.
easy peasy.

a few other close-ups of my layout...

i used white paint and my white nifty uniball signo pen for the swirl and dots that you see.

for this layout i used a color palette and sketch from the color room, #35.
also used our holiday card (made from snapfish) we sent out recently to our loved ones.
here is the end result, loved how it turned out.

i rarely use a yellow cardstock, but this was a great opportunity to use it.

now that i'm not experiencing nausea...
and full of energy...
i'm gonna get back into blogging...
i've been bad, i know.

i'm so happy i have my lil boo in my life to keep me busy.
i love her so much.
she's like a mini-me actually.
i'm so grateful for her.
we're pretty much together all the time.
so i'm gonna take advantage of it before she turns into a teenager!

so grateful.

onto to some scrapbooking bizness....

time for some tea + hazelnut coffee + cornbread muffin

i have been in the mood for....

decaf tea w/ some lemon and honey...oh yumm-o...

cornbread muffin with a lil whipped cream & a hazelnut milk coffee (nonfat of course!)...
never knew whipped cream could be soooo good!  (my lil boo'z idea!)

and it's gone!

had my ob appointment today.
got some ultrasound pix to share.
when i got home, i kept saying,
she's so pretty!
you're so pretty!
had some major tears in my eyes too.
sniff sniff.

she is healthy and weighs 1 pound now.
by now she is 7 inches tall.

in this one you can see her arm raising up...

she was moving the whole time during all this.
she's a dancer, i tell ya!

and i'm a RETURNING DESIGN TEAM MEMBER!!!!
and i'm soooo excited this time around!
because we have some ladiez from all over the world.
