sharing 1 of 2 recent layouts....
finally used the ali edwards' "craft" story kit and stamp set. i really love this kit. i used it on this layout about one of the things i have a passion for, well actually 2: dance and Zumba. then again, it could also be for 3, with third being scrapbooking. i got to combine all three on this one...YES! AAA-OO! WOOT WOOT!
can hardly wait to use this kit in my project life album.
i haven't been able to work on my PL album in full force lately since i've been working on other projects: finally getting caught up in uploading my pictures to snapfish & shutterfly (i am current as of today!), organizing a bunch of prints i recently received from snapfish for my PL 2015 album, studying for my ACE PT exam, zumba choreo, etc. i am hoping to work on it tomorrow morning before teaching my Sunday Zumba class at Dance Plus Fitness Studio, at least getting photos in the pocket pages and using my newest tool, the American Crafts We R Memory Keepers Photo Sleeve Fuse. i used it the other day and man i love it. now i can use all those 12x12 page sleeves i have for my PL albums. one of the best investments ever!
well it's getting late and i'm getting tired....so it's nitey nite for now. xoxo.

birthday cards & Feb OLW
time to share what i've created....
some birthday cards for some special Zumba ladieZ....and my friend Vernita (one of the bday galZ) held a Zumba Bday party at her class this past Monday...
and for the deetz...
and now for my Feb OLW layouts....
a full scrap layout for the prompt: practice. my goal was to document my original Zumba choreo for February. i did pretty good even missing about 4-5 days.
an extra collage photo i created using my project life app...love that app!
journal cards are from ali edwards' february prompt downloads and the one on the right is from the story kit heart download. the "dance" card, re-colored in Word (it's original b&w).
that heart is also from the same story kit. and the journal card on the left i created from a quote i found in pinterest and wrote in " + scrapbook" in a sharpie gold metallic marker. i then stapled punched stars to it to add a little vibe plus i love stars which is part of my theme for my OLW album.
for the march OLW prompt, it's more of a hands on project, looking, cutting, and glueing. can hardly wait to share it. right now i'm in the cutting stage. i think i'm having too much fun. LOL.

the past almost 2 weeks
oh my it's been a busy couple of weeks...
treated ourselves to starbucks, zucchini three cheese lasagna rolls for dinner, and happy mail from inspire lovely and ali edwards.
the tinies snowman ever...
finally got all my written Zumba choreo in this red binder and used these $3 dividers i got from target...i feel so much better they are in one place.
side planks kick ass...trying to improve on them since they're one of the most effective ab WO.
getting back into studying for my ACE Personal Trainer certification exam in may.
outside target, she saw this and had to play and i had to photograph it.
we got to eagle river a wee bit early to pick up maiya, so selene & i stopped by startbucks for a treat and we saw the work of art above their fireplace, twisted heart.
jesse was out of town for ashley's cheerleading competition in ID, so on this friday night me, maiya & selene headed to michael's, petco and bed bath beyond and window shopped. it was kinda fun to spend and chill time with my girls.
finally got these outline stamps from kelly purkey. i have been waiting for these since they were sold out and finally amazon fulfilled my wish. also got some other stamps from michael's Fun in a Jar. a couple of my best purchases as of this day.
selene & i went to barnes & noble while maiya was her friend's birthday party. so great to just relax and let selene browse the books. on our way out the door, found these on sale, $6.98 & $8.98. what a bargain, i had to grab them for me (300 writing prompts) and for maiya (sketch book). another couple of great worth it purchases. that 300 book has got some great prompts in it to kick start your writing juices. i randomly choose one each day and write. (literally, i randomly unevenly divide the book, turn to a page, and blindly point to a prompt and do my thang).
we also finally got mine (coral) and maiya's (platinum)...
so worth it and such a wonderful planner. it has truly been a blessing. it's helped me out organize my day, week and month better. i did not buy extra inserts. but after using it for a few days, i am finding that i definitely need the daily inserts. i also found free printables on pinterest too. i am thinking i will order the daily inserts and create my own based on them. i like the fact the daily inserts have the time frames on them and i really need that part since a lot of my schedule/to-do is time-driven. so worth the investment of $40. i love this planner. i don't plan on going all out on decking it out like i've seen on instagram, i'm keeping it simple and to a minimum if i do deck it.
gonna post some scrappy stuff in a later post. see ya very soon.

oh this past week...
so much has happened this past week... i need to start blogging about my weeks more often...it'll help me out with my PL albums.... duh....
Wednesday....maya's student-led conference... this one for some reason was extra fun. got to see her art and home ec classes and what she's been up to. these two classes are her faves (and they were mine too back in the day!).
i don't get to take photos with my Zumba students because...well i forget to.....yikes! this was after my Friday class and just taking a quick one with Vivian, one of my students. she rocks and so does her mom (who was at work at the time)! i love my Z peepZ!
Friday...we tried Indian food for the very first time at Bombay Deluxe Restaurant. had the tandoori chicken ( a bit overcooked but very tasteful). and selene loved the naan bread too!
saturday...morning... de-cluttered my container... got rid of some brads i no longer needed and kept the basic colors, b&w, all the silver, gold and copper ones. then added my wooden veneers, metal embellies and other trinkets i know i'll use in my future projects. aaah it felt good to rid of the old. that same morning taught my Zumba Saturday class here on base (JBER, AK) and man oh man, PACKED HOUSE! 53 students! 2 sign in sheets, front & back! aaa-oo! what a great morning!
...then used up selene's claire gift cards at the dimond mall, window shopping at best buy (planning to buy a fitbit performance as my polar watch sucks now) and dinner at chili's.
we ended last night with a few episodes of breaking bad and i blog surfed for a bit.
then.... i gave in to the planner bandwagon...well really i realized i need one as using my iPhone just was not efficient, only for scheduling appointments, daily events, but not for to do lists and future planning purposes. so... i got this....
a simple stories carpe diem planner! along with some other accessories: a 6-hole puncher,
picked up Maiya from the airport, she spent the president's holiday weekend in WA.
Tuesday....selene was so patient and good getting her teeth cleaned...she started to get a little antsy at the end but she did fine. one little cavity that the dentist said it has not grown since her last visit and would like to keep an eye on it. it most likely will go away in time.

Bookmark W/Sticky Notes, Carpe Diem Plastic Bookmarks 3/Pkg, and Carpe Diem A5 Plastic Zippered Storage Pouch.
i had done some research on youtube and found that this was pretty much the best one. and from what i see, i can see why. it had great reviews on amazon, which i rely on a bunches. can hardly wait to get it along with the goodies. i am not planning to buy all the other stuff, since i have supplies of my own. but the ones i may in the future are the dividers and the daily inserts. i wanna see first how it goes and I'm sure it will awesome. waiting waiting....so impatient. LOL.
today: taught my Zumba Sunday class and one of my JBER students came too!; playtime for Selene at the Arctic Oasis Community Center, commissary and lastly, i'm here right now at the airport waiting to pick up Maiya.
well this starbucks lemon pound cake is right in front of me waiting to be devoured... drooling as a i type this. gotta go . xoxo.
