10.03 miles & 3 more dayz!

omigosh!
i haven't blogged in so long!
bad girl bad girl bad girl!
just been pre-occupied w/ personal stuff.
and honestly i just havent been in the mood for the online world too much except for my fb of course.
even then i just take a peek or put an update on my training for the marathon.

guess what?
i reached 10.03 miles on 9/22/2012:

i could not believe i did that much!
am i ready for a half marathon?
maybe.
we'll see...

and speaking of marathons...
my 10K marathon (Santa Monica 5000) is coming up in 3 dayz!!!!!
i'm so excited!

i can hardly wait!

in the future i'll be posting some cards i made for some past birthdays.
sheez i need to scrap some layouts.
i'm long due!
plus i've been have the scrappin itch lately.
hmmm....

happy 11th birthday maiya!

she turned 11 today!
well actually exactly on a thursday at 3:55 p.m.!
lol.

this is what we got her and we gave it to her this morning before she headed to school:

it's what she wanted.
we actually tricked her and said there none left.
but it was a nice surprise for her this morning.

i gotta get her lil ice cream sandwiches from baskin robbins this morning.

i have totally been neglecting my blog for the past what how many dayz???
about 24 freakin dayz!
holy sheyatz!

i've been so occupied with life here at home and with family.
i've totally blocked out blogging.
the only internet socializing i've been doing is my facebook & twitter.
i have been doing my photo-a-day for august and did complete and they're all on those 2.

"today" was her 1st day as a 5th grader...

august was a good month!

to add to that i beat my pb...
i hit this:

i went for a long run this past friday but only hit 6.29 miles.
at least i beat my 10K goal.
i have a dream to get to an 8-miler.
we shall see.
did i just challenge myself?
heehee.

no...not for my hair...heehee...
but stuff so far that happened this month.
hmmm maybe i should do something like this every month.

anywayz, here's a few....

orthodontist checkup for maiya...
checking on progress...
and she's ready for braces.
she'll be getting them tomorrow.

i love this burger from yardhouse...

las vegas....
swimming at the paris hotel pool,
walk the nightlife,
m & m's world,
and the eiffel tower....

last friday for dinner we discovered a new resto...
the thai
good food and a yumm-o dessert of coconut ice cream & fried banana....
yey-yah!

and we added an new addition to the familia....
....stella... our beagle-chihuahua mix
she is a lil over a yr old...
she is already comfy w/ us.
i can see her with us for a long time.
we love her so much already....

also yesterday i beat my PB (personal best)!!!!
ran 6.80 miles!
yey-yah!
gotta reach 7 next time!

gotta work on the speed...
maybe today on the treadmill?
we'll see how it goes.

i seem to always want to order something different when i go there.

a few minutes before selene woke up this a.m.
she always has "crazy hair"
always getting into bizness not of her own of course.

it's gonna be a busy one today....

• pack for vegas (we're leaving sometime this afternoon!)
