a nice adventure + nice cards

yesterday i finally did it....
 i can check it off my list...
something my hubby has been wanting me to do....

oh yes...

i went on my 1st ever...

mountain biking adventure!!!!

it was such beautiful sunny afternoon and it was sooooo much fun!  this won't be my last time too!  it was hard at certain peaks and terrain...what was funny was...

i kept laughing at myself out loud everytime i went up and downhill, hit rocky terrain, hit soft terrain.  that's my way of pushing myself to keep going.  my hubby said i was so loud and i was making him laugh coz i was so loud...that i was "killing" him coz i was laughing so much.  but that's how i sometimes deal with things.

it was fun okay?!!!???  you should try it someday...MTN BIKING.

i love my hubby for being so patient...and laughing at me too.  lol!

okay, let's get down to some scrappiness...aight?

i finally got to scrapping a couple of photobooth pix my family & i took at the antelope valley mall.  this is one of our family traditions and as soon as we take them, i create a page for it.  this time tho' it took me a little longer to do it since i just couldn't figure out what papers and embellies to use.  then my july kit from AMM came in recently and hit me to use it.

i cut up these photobooth lovelies, just to make it a little different and entitled it with "love 7.10.10."  and here's my take with the deetz:

i love....and a quick sneaky peeky of some love

i love this man and i am so grateful i have him in my life.  he's my best friend and true soulmate.  he makes me laugh and he's always honest with me, even if it's something that i don't want to hear but need to. ya know, one of those things that you know should know but are afraid to hear it out loud?  yes...i can get that way too like everyone else.

anywhooo...

i am so lucky.

yes he is.
and that's one of the many reasons why i love him.

11 more days and a birthday

yes....that's 11 more days til my baby boo comes back home to us.  we can hardly wait.  yey-yah!  i just spoke with her last nite and she's excited to come back home.  i told her last night, hey you have 12 more days til you come home.  she was like really?  yeah!

now it's 11.

this was the summer bash during the 4th of july weekend.  the girls went bungee jumping/flying, me and the girls did the tilt-a-wheel (i did most of the tilting..heehee) and then we watched the fireworks.

and remember the RAK i got from Michelle Quinn, the summertime collection from echo park?  well i used it for a birthday card for a special little person, my godson.  here it is...

things to share....

hello monday...you're here again.

we took a trip to malibu this past weekend.  the drive was pretty nice.  it was cloudy and a bit on the chilly side when we got there.  we did a bit of an exploration drive and stopped by a beach.  also stopped by neptune net for lunch...this is the resto where an episode of the real housewives of OC was filmed.

the food here was not so yumm-o, but hey not all resto's we will go to will end up so good...oh well...

and sitting at the beach (can't remember the name of it):

see my feetsies???  heeheee....the beach was nice. it was cloudy but still beautiful. but as time went on, the sand got warmer and warmer to hot...ouch!

and an old layout that i never got around posting.  this is also one of my favez.  i gave this as a gift to a really great friend.  love the bright colors of sassafras against the black, don't you?

gonna be making a birthday card for a cute fella, he's gonna be the BIG UNO!  yey-yah!

heehee...

well so far monday has been aight...gotta wake up the princess.  register my other princess baby boo for school and then register the sleepy princess for dance and swimming classes today.
